June 19, from 9 am to 2 pm, Found Animals will host the “Better with a Buddy” dog adoption event at 14 locations across Los Angeles.

On June 4 and 5, the Zoom Room hosted a Dog Agility Park at the Buddha Bark Wonder Park event in conjunction with the MTV Movie Awards. Situated in the gorgeous series of bungalows that comprise the Chaz Dean Studio in the heart of Hollywood, the two-day event featured doggie fashion shows, a gifting lounge, booths promoting pet wellness, and of course, our very own Dog Park.

Fox Wire Terrier Ronnie was named Hero Dog of the Year by the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of Los Angeles on May 4, 2010.

New Program! Helping your child learn to read in our new Ruff Reading Therapy Dog Program, in which children read to dogs in the comfort of the Zoom Room.

O’Fluff’s Lucky Charms charity event delivered food and fun, as well as funds and a future for sick pets.

Valentine’s Day was for the dogs at the Zoom Room last weekend. Two dog parties, one with the Four Legged Friend’s Foundation celebrated puppy love in style.

This year we’re hosting two great Valentine’s Day events at the Zoom Room. On Saturday, Feb. 13, from 6 to 10 pm, please bring your beloved best four-legged buddy, along with the whole family, to enjoy music, treats and fun. The cost is only $5, but spaces are limited!

And, on Sunday, Feb. 14th, we’re delighted to host a Valentine’s Day Singles Fundraiser for the Four Legged Friends Foundation.

Here in L.A., movie producers have the good sense to put talented dogs to work in the movies. We’re not just talking Marley & Me or Hotel for Dogs. Can you imagine As Good As It Gets without the pooch? The right droop of a tail or cock of a head is box office gold. But speaking of gold, where are the statuettes for the unsung canine movie stars?

Turns out they’re in England, home to the Third Annual Fido Awards.
