Doggie Photo Shoot

Calling all doggie models!

We’ve got an exciting event here at Zoom Room Longmont on Saturday, June 21st from 4 – 6 pm.  Photographer Brenda Rolland Halverson will be on location to take fun photos of your dog.   Plus you can have your choice of setup be it a simple portrait, agility, rally, scent, whatever you’d like, maybe even a game of fetch!

The photos will be taken on a first come first serve basis and each dog will be given 10 minutes for a $10 sitting fee (50% of which will go to Chase Away K9 Cancer charity, see below for more details on this charity.)  Sign up soon as space will be limited: http://zoomroom.me/LongPhotos

The edited photos will be available for purchase online a few days after the event.  We will post on Facebook and email all participants when the prints are ready for viewing.  So get those pups bathed and groomed and ready to have some fun posing for the camera!

Photo print pricing:

  • 4 x 6 – $3
  • 5 x 7 – $4
  • 8 x 10 – $8
  • larger available upon request

Order as few or as many as you like!  Brenda has been burning up the road this spring photographing dog shows, herding trials, dock dogs and Nosework competitions just to name a few.  Check out Brenda’s talent  HERE.

Chase Away K9 Cancer, a division of the National Canine Cancer Foundation

chaseheader_01Founded in 2006 by Cera Reusser, Chase Away K9 Cancer brings together people and dogs from all walks of life to combat and eventually defeat this horrible disease. We are a grassroots effort where donations and net proceeds from merchandise fund canine cancer studies and K9 cancer awareness efforts.

Since it’s inception, these efforts have raised over $822,999.30 and have helped to fund 18 studies. Much of our support comes one dollar at a time, so every donation makes a difference.

Chase Away K9 Cancer also aims to build a community where people can find comfort and understanding; where no one will say “it’s just a dog” and where we can honor the efforts of our volunteers and the dogs that they love.

Our ultimate goal is to see the day where no one will lose a beloved best friend to cancer.
