Grand Opening Benefits Longmont Humane

Longmont Knows How to Party

Zoom Room Longmont’s Grand Opening on Saturday May 7th rocked out!  22 people got a taste of agility at our four free classes held during the day.  It was fabulous meeting so many talented dogs (and their owners!).

Longmont Humane and Morris Animal Foundation shared a table at our event and got lots of attention.  Morris Animal Foundation was promoting their Canine Cancer Campaign. Both organizations handed out fun goodies and we were glad to see the local community embrace both equally.   Zoom Room is proud to donate  $500 plus kongs and treats to Longmont Humane Society.  Our store landlord also donated another $100 to LHS!  That is $600 raised from our Grand Opening – thanks Longmont!

The real party kicked off at 6pm and ran into the night.  Two amazing adoptable dogs from Longmont Humane Society were lead around the agility equipment by the tireless volunteers.  People waited in line for a caricature from Mark Hall who wowed the crowd with his talent and spot on drawings of attendees’ dogs!  The dogs really got into the mood cruising over all the agility equipment and socializing in their own way.  We held a drawing to give away a free Doggy Disco® party.  The winner of the Doggy Disco® party was Christine and her dog Fiona from Longmont (a well deserved winner as she volunteers for Golden Retriever Rescue too!).  Just watching Christine and her dog Fiona during the event shows one great party will be coming up soon for all their friends!

If you were unable to see us at our Grand Opening as it was a very busy day and Mother’s day weekend, please stop by our location at 17th & Hover – we will share a treat with your dog and chat.

It’s not too late to sign up; classes begin May 23rd – check out our schedule now!
