Responsible Dog Ownership Day

September 17th 12pm-5pm – Mark your Calendar!

At Zoom Room, we believe that a responsible owner is one that makes sure their dog never stops learning and has fun social interaction daily!  That is why we offer so many different classes and Open Gym times.  Your dog does not get bored zooming at Zoom Room.  Come join us in celebrating all the responsible dog owners in Longmont with an afternoon of fun, education, and adoptions!

Kick off the day by showing off your dog’s smarts!  Show up by 11:30am to sign in – dogs will perform in order they arrive beginning at 12pm in the Zoom Room gym.  There may not be time for all dogs, so come early!

Prizes will be awarded: 1st A Doggy Disco® Party, 2nd Free Group Class and 3rd place $50 Gift Card to Zoom Room.

No charge for entering contest but any donation, cash or product, to Every Creature Counts would be appreciated.  Their highest needs are dry or canned cat food, cat litter, paper towels, cotton swabs, and laundry soap.  Every Creature Counts is a 501(c)3 volunteer rescue organization who re-homed over 2,600 animals in 2010!

We will be offering FREE Introduction to Agility classes at 1pm and 2:30pm.  Taking our hour long Intro class is an easy way to try us out before a 6-week commitment.  Trust us though; your dog will love it!  Class size is limited so sign up now!

CAH logoDrs. Natalie Durbin and Brooke Freeman from Cambridge Animal Hospital will be answering your pressing veterinary questions and offering $30 microchipping on site.

They will also be presenting the Pet First Aid Seminar being held at 4:00pm inside Zoom Room.  Cost is $20 per person.  A complete pet first aid kit FREE to the first 10 people who sign up.  Everything you need in a handy carry case – don’t leave home with your dog without the kit!

We are welcoming a variety of adoptable dogs from  Every Creature Counts and Big Dog Huge Paws Rescue.  So many dogs looking for responsible owners to take them home – come see who you might want to add to your family!  Adopt a dog from one of the rescues at our event and get a discount coupon off your first training with Zoom Room.

Happy Tails: Canine and Equine Massage Therapy will be on hand to offer mini-dog massages.  Regular massages can be a useful tool in keeping your active dog pain free and limber.   Remember dogs are athletes!  Visit their booth and witness how massage can transform your pooch.

BOOK SIGNING – 12pm – 2pm ONLY

Hi Marnie, Thought I’d take a look at your newletter. Nice! I’ve heard great things about Cambridge vets and I donate to ECC every month, so glad to see them involved. Hope it’s a wonderful day for all. If I get time, will try to stop by. Have fun! ML
