Castaway Pet Rescue Adoption Event

Bruno

Bruno in a rare moment of quiet repose between play bouts with fellow rescue pups

Stop in to Zoom Room Milwaukee between 10:00 am – 3:00 pm on Sunday, February 19th to find your new best friend!  Castaway Pet Rescue and several other rescue organizations will be here with wonderful pups looking for their new forever homes.

Come meet the inspiring, special-needs rescue puppy, Bruno, who is now ready for adoption!  Bruno was found abandoned in an alley at four weeks of age, with complete paralysis of his back legs.  Thankfully, he was taken in by Castaway Pet Rescue and with extensive medical treatment including acupuncture and hydrotherapy, Bruno is regaining use of his back legs.  Read his incredible tale at Bruno’s Story and see how far he has come in this video filmed at Zoom Room in January 2012.

While Bruno is certainly one of a kind, he is just one of many dogs Castaway has rescued that require special care.  Castaway regularly takes dogs into foster that would otherwise be overlooked and euthanized due to their need for expensive medical treatment.  They rely solely on the support of their fantastic fosters and donations from caring people to ready the pups for adoption.

Zoom Room will donate 10% of the day’s sales to Castaway, so please come out to support them even if you don’t need a new addition to your family!
