Valentine’s Day Party

Share the Love!

Valentine’s Day is traditionally a day to express love to those we care about. Red roses, chocolates, champagne and mushy cards will certainly be lavished on many.

But, have you ever wondered about all the homeless animals that go day after day without any love and affection? Our city and county shelters are full of unwanted pets that need and crave love just like those that are secure in loving homes.

Peace of Mind Dog Rescue right here in Pacific Grove is trying to make a difference in the lives of animals.

“Peace of Mind Dog Rescue is dedicated to finding new loving homes for dogs whose guardians can no longer care for them due to illness, death, or other challenging circumstances, and to finding homes for senior dogs in animal shelters. Our vision is to model lifetime care for dogs and all companion animals to help bring about a positive change in the way society thinks about and treats senior dogs and to create better lives for them through rescue, foster, adoption, hospice and education.”

So with that thought in mind, please join us for our Valentine’s Day Party, Sunday, February 12th from 2pm – 4pm. The cost will be $10.00/dog (people are FREE) and as our way of honoring the work that is done by this organization’s wonderful volunteers, $5.00 will be donated directly to Peace of Mind Dog Rescue to help them continue their labor of love. They will be bringing adoptable dogs to the party.

Sharing the love is the best way to show that you really care. Bring your dog(s) and join us for a fun-filled afternoon. Refreshments will be served and doggie treats will abound. We’ll have the agility equipment set up for your use to the accompaniment of music and disco lights.
