Grand Opening Celebration!

Lucky Dog Animal RescueGrab the leash, get the dog and head over to Zoom Room Rockville, located at 11771 Rockville Pike (at the corner of Rockville Pike and Old Georgetown Road), and help celebrate the social aspect of dog ownership on Saturday, February 16!

The day’s events will include FREE agility classes throughout the day and a fabulous party starting in the late afternoon. Come and enjoy – everything is free, everyone is welcome! And this is truly one of those cases where the more, the merrier applies, because for everyone who attends our Grand Opening and RSVPs in advance, we will make a $10 donation to Lucky Dog Animal Rescue!

And the fundraising doesn’t stop at the door! In addition to the RSVP donations, we will be donating 10% of ALL sales on February 16 to our friends at Lucky Dog Animal Rescue, one of the most active rescue organizations in the DC area and from which Zoom Room Rockville’s own mascot, Abby, was rescued a year ago.

In addition, Zoom Room Rockville will be the first Zoom Room in the nation to have a dedicated donations center that will benefit many of the animal welfare organizations Zoom Room is proud and honored to work with.  Even in Montgomery County, the need is great.  So please bring old towels, blankets, used toys, food or treats your dog is no longer thrilled about and anything you think of that would benefit dogs in need.  We will ensure that your generosity takes care of dogs that need some extra love and comfort.

Free Dog Agility Classes!

Every dog can enjoy agility training! And what better way to check it out than free! Space is extremely limited and these classes fill up fast, so please reserve your spot now!

Classes will be held at 10:00 am, 11:00 am and 1:00 pm on Saturday and at 10:00 am and 12 noon on Sunday, February 17.

Grand Opening Party!

Starting at 3:00 pm, we will be swinging into full Celebration mode!  Enjoy some amazing food from Rockville’s own Bagel City, a true Rockville institution.

We wont forget about your puppy’s tummy either!  Zoom Room makes delicious and famous Doggy Donuts (all-natural and gluten-free!) and we will have plenty on hand plus other yummies to satisfy all of our four-legged friends.  And please be sure to bring your dancing shoes as we will crank up the music, turn on the disco ball and lights and have one of Zoom Room’s famous Doggy Disco® parties!

The party is open to all dog owners and dog lovers, accompanied by their dogs of course, completely free of charge. However, we do require that you RSVP in advance. And don’t forget – for every person that RSVPs, the Zoom Room will donate $10 to Lucky Dog Animal Rescue! We’ll also be accepting additional donations throughout the day and evening, so while all of the day’s events are free, we ask that you please bring your checkbook and talk to the great folks from Lucky Dog about all they do in our community to save dogs and find them their forever homes! Please help us make a difference.

We look forward to meeting you and your dog!

Can’t make the party? Please stop in and visit us with your pooch anytime after February 16 at 11771 Rockville Pike.  We have ample free parking in the garage right behind our store – just follow the signs to our reserved spaces and look for the orange door!

Hi, I learned about your Grand Opening on Lucky Dog Animal Rescue site and registered for the party. How do I register for one of the free agility classes? And who will be teaching the agility class? I’m really excited about have agility classes so close to where I live.

Hi Debra! We are just thrilled to be able to partner with Lucky Dog! Our own Abby, who you will see frequently at the Zoom Room, is a Lucky Dog rescue and we are honored to be able to help support the critical work Lucky Dog does every day. You can register for one of the classes (note that we will be doing a couple on the 17th as well) by clicking the orange button immediately above the “Grand Opening Party” text. I will be teaching the classes and we certainly share your excitement about the agility classes! We can’t wait to run our engaging agility course with you and your dog!

Hi, I would like to drop by, but probably without my dog. She loves learning tricks and doing some agility activities, but is very shy around other people. I have taken her to one other place for training, where the dogs are able to train and practice in the same room, but separately (so she sees the people and gets used to them but isn’t scared by them trying to pet her). However, that place doesn’t offer classes very often and they are always full. I would like to find out how the zoom room is set up? It looks like there are a lot of classes that my dog and I would love. Thanks!
