Take Your Dog to Work Day

First celebrated in 1999, Take Your Dog To Work Day was created to celebrate the great companions dogs make and to encourage their adoption from humane societies, animal shelters and breed rescue clubs. This annual event asks pet lovers to celebrate the humane-canine bond and promote pet adoption by encouraging employers to open their workplace to employees’ pets.

How to RSVP

Simply click the link below, and you’ll be taken to the Zoom Room’s site. If your dog already has an account, simply log in and sign up for the party. You can pay the $10 online using any major credit card. If you don’t have an account, you’ll be able to create one for your dog.

The fee is $10 per dog. If you plan to bring more than one dog, or if you’d simply like to make an additional donation, adjust the COUNT in your shopping cart to the desired amount.

A photographer from the Claremont Courier, the local daily newspaper in Claremont, Colo., came out to the Zoom Room in Claremont to snap pictures of the happy hour event and Doggy Disco®, which were held in celebration of Take Your Dog to Work Day.

Zoom Room owner Kathy Thorpe was invited on the 9 News Denver morning show to talk about the happy hour event at the Denver and Longmont locations as part of the national Take your Dog to Work Day. She was accompanied by Zoom Room client Jayna showing off some tricks outside the studio.

Charlotte Dog Care Examiner Tyra Bailey shares the details of a happy hour event being held at the Zoom Room in Charlotte after Take your Dog to Work Day. The event on June 22 features refreshments for humans and canines, Doggy Disco® party, mini agility lessons and dog photo t-shirts available for 20 percent off with all proceeds going to the Greater Charlotte SPCA.
